Frequently Asked Questions

What is CBD?

Cannabidiol, or CBD for short, is a compound found in the flower and aerial parts of a cannabis plant. CBD oil is a natural remedy made by extracting CBD and other compounds (called cannabinoids) from the plant and combining them with carrier oils.

What are the benefits of CBD oil?

CBD can help manage a range of physical and mental ailments and is often incorporated into preventative health regimens. It works by stimulating the endocannabinoid system, which promotes whole body balance.

Our CBD provides full spectrum cannabinoids to enable the synergistic quality that occurs when all of the cannabinoids are present together.

Many take it to encourage restful sleep. Some use it for stress management. Others integrate it into their daily wellness routine to support overall well-being.

Why full-spectrum?

All our CBD is full-spectrum. And that’s good! Here’s why: Your body has an intelligent network of cell receptors called an endocannabinoid system, this system can help you maintain homeostasis (balance). Homeostasis enables organisms to survive in continually changing environments. Homeostasis affects everything from your physical health to your mood.

To activate the endocannabinoid system and achieve optimum balance, your body needs cannabinoids. Your body can produce some on its own, often, however, those trace amounts aren’t enough to keep your endocannabinoid system functioning properly. When the “full spectrum” of cannabinoids are present, the cannabinoids attach to the cell receptors in your endocannabinoid system and send them an activation signal, which allows your endocannabinoid system to fulfill its function of promoting homeostasis throughout your body.

Is hemp oil the same as CBD oil?

There can be confusion about the types of oils made from Hemp. Oil made from the seeds of the hemp plant is not the same as CBD oil, which is made from the aerial plant parts ( the flowers, leaves, and stem). Hemp Seeds, although highly nutritious, do not contain significant amounts of cannabinoids such as CBD.

How is CBD oil made?

In the simplest terms, CBD oil is made by processing the aerial parts of a hemp plant and infusing a carrier oil with that processed plant. However, not all companies use the same production methods. Some use lower- quality methods or toxic chemicals, resulting in less-potent isolates or distillates. These methods often produce products that don’t retain the full spectrum of cannabinoids. We use New Mexico State certified third party labs for our comprehensive testing procedures.
